Making Tax Digital
From April 2022 all businesses registered for VAT will be required to submit their VAT returns digitally and quarterly. This is the first step in HMRC's plan to completely digitise the UK's tax system.
From April 2024, everyone registered as self-employed income of over £10,000 will have to file under making tax digital rules. So you have to file at least 4 tax returns a year, keep your records in a digital format and have to use software to file your tax return.
If your turnover is above the VAT threshold and you are not currently recording your VAT digitally this will mean a big change for your company. We have designed our own App to keep your records digital and we will file your tax return electronically on time.

As a firm we have made planning for Making Tax Digital (MTD) a priority, which means we can offer you specialist advice and the best solution to help you navigate MTD successfully.
